    Alicia Robinson enters her fourth season with the Women of Troy at outside hitter... A team co-captain... Underwent a second surgery on her right foot in January and spent the spring and summer rehabilitating.

    2003 Junior Season
    Robinson's contributions helped lead the Women of Troy to the 2003 NCAA CHAMPIONSHIP, but her season ended three matches too soon... Prior to the NCAA Regional Final versus UCLA (Dec. 13), Robinson re-injured her right foot and was sidelined for the final three championship matches... During the season, she resumed her role as a part-time starter in the Trojans' 6-2 system and played 31 matches... Despite being slowed by her rehabilitation, she averaged a .237 attack percentage, 1.48 kills, 0.57 digs, 0.37 blocks and 1.73 points per game... Just three matches into the season she hit a career-best .818 against Ball State (Aug. 29) with nine kills off 11 attacks and no errors... In the match she also added a season-best seven digs and four blocks... Set a career-high with 11 kills in a .667 attack performance against Washington State on Nov. 1... Despite struggling at times, she began to establish some consistency down the stretch... Hit above .300 in five of her last eight matches... Named Pac-10 All-Academic honorable mention... Underwent her first surgery on her right foot in May of 2003... Was invited to play with the USA A2 Women's National Team during the summer of 2003, but was unable to go due to her rehabilitation.

    2002 Sophomore Season
    As a starter in the Trojans' 6-2 rotation (playing only in the front row), Robinson's power in crucial matches helped guide the Women of Troy to the 2002 NCAA CHAMPIONSHIP... She played in all 32 matches and started in 31... Averaged a .181 attack percentage, 2.28 kills, 0.44 digs, 0.54 blocks and 2.66 points per game... Set a career high with six blocks against Wake Forest at the BYU Mizuno Classic on Sept. 6... At Stanford on Oct. 4, she accounted for a career-high 43 attacks... Had a career-best two solo blocks in four different matches (Oct. 18 vs. UCLA, Nov. 1 vs. California, Nov. 2 vs. Stanford and Nov. 15 at UCLA)... Had her best hitting performance of the season when she hit .615 with eight kills off of 13 attacks and no errors against California (Nov. 1)... The following night she posted a season-high 16 kills against Stanford (Nov. 2)... Averaged 2.0 kills and a .240 attack percentage throughout the NCAA Tournament... Named to the Pac-10 All-Academic honorable mention team and a USC Marks Scholar-Athlete.

    2001 Freshman Season
    Robinson started in 27 matches and played in 89 games in her first season at USC... She finished third on the squad with a 2.80 kills per game average... Also averaged a .259 attack percentage, 0.58 digs, 0.62 blocks and 3.17 points per game... Named to the Pac-10 All-Freshman honorable mention team... Contributed double digits in kills in 12 matches... Had 13 kills (.310), three digs and two blocks in her first collegiate outing against UC Irvine (Sept. 1)... Against UCLA (Sept. 21) she hit a season-high .700 with 14 kills off of 20 attacks and no errors - the marks ranks 11th among USC all-time match records... Twice contributed a season-best five digs against Cal (Oct. 13) and UCLA (Oct. 19)... Had her best overall performance of the season in the second match-up against the Bruins (Oct. 19), where, in addition to five digs, she added a season-high 20 kills and 8.0 blocks... Missed two matches (Nov. 20 and 21) with a right ankle sprain... During the summer of 2002 she trained with the USA A2 Women's National Phase II Team in Colorado Springs, Colo.

    Robinson is a 2001 graduate of Central High in Phoenix, Ariz. ... A four-year volleyball letterwinner, she led Central to four straight Southwest Region Championships and two region third-place finishes (1998 and 2000)... Named the 2000 Gatorade Arizona Player of the Year, a Paul Mitchell first team All-American and Student Sports All-American... A third team Paul Mitchell All-American pick as a junior... Named to the 5A all-state first team in 1998 and 2000, and the second team in 1999... A four-year all-region selection and the 2000 Southwest Region MVP... Played four years with the Arizona Juniors and two years with the Arizona Grand Canyon Juniors... Prior to her senior year, she joined current USC teammate Keao Burdine as a member of the U.S.A. Junior National Team... The duo guided the team to a sixth-place finish at the 1999 World Championships in Portugal... Also a member of the 1998 Junior National Team which won a gold medal at NORCECA in Puerto Rico and the 2000 squad which won a silver medal at NORCECA in Cuba where she was honored as the `Best Attacker'... A member of the National Honor Society and four-year scholar athlete... Following graduation she helped the U.S.A. Junior National Volleyball Team qualify for the World Championships with a third place finish at the Intercontinental Qualification Tournament in Monterrey, Mexico, at outside hitter.

    Alicia Renee Robinson was born on July 27, 1983, in Phoenix, Ariz. ... The daughter of Leonard and Nancy Robinson, she has two brothers, Leonard (24) and Michael Schwertley (22), and one sister, Lindsey (14)... Her father, Leonard "Truck" Robinson, played 10 years in the NBA for the Phoenix Suns and New York Knicks... Truck and Alvan Adams, father of USC teammate Emily Adams, played together on the Suns for three seasons... Alicia and Emily were club volleyball teammates through high school and began playing softball together in elementary school... Her favorite books are When the Wind Blows and Hamlet... She hopes to continue playing or coaching volleyball after graduation... A communications major.
