    Sarah Florian begins her first season with the Women of Troy at outside hitter... Selected to train with the USA Women's Junior National Team this summer but was unable to compete due to injury.

    Florian is a 2004 graduate of St. Ursula Academy in Toledo, Ohio... A four-year volleyball letterwinner... Helped lead her prep team to an impressive 106-7 record during her career, four City League championships and four state semifinal appearances... Her 2002 squad was ranked as high as No. 7 nationally... A 2004 Volleyball magazine Fab 50 selection... Named Ohio Magazine's Woman of the Year in 2004... A four-time Northwest District Player of the Year, Toledo Blade City Player of the Year and Toledo City League Player of the Year... A four-time All-Ohio state first team selection, All-Northwest District and All-Toledo City League first team pick... Played club volleyball with Toledo Volleyball Club for nine years... Played on the USA Volleyball Girls Youth National Team in 2002 and 2003... Helped guide the U.S. to a fourth-place finish at the 2003 World Championships in Poland and named to the all-tournament team at the 2003 Junior Olympics...
