Results

Senior diver Blythe Hartley and junior Michael Hilde were repeat NCAA Championship qualifiers while sophomore Kim Popp and junior Kenny Jenkins were first-time qualifiers on the final day of the 2006 NCAA Zone E Championships in Oklahoma City.

Hartley won both the women's 1-meter and 3-meter springboards on Thursday and Friday, while Popp, a walk-on, took second (498.75) on the platform on Saturday to earn her NCAA berth. Popp also took second at the Pac-10 Championships.

Hilde, the 2006 Pac-10 champ on platform, took second with 668.85 points to earn his third consecutive NCAA trip. Jenkins, who barely missed qualifying for the NCAA Championships last year, finished third on platform (613.25) to make the NCAA squad.

The 2006 NCAA Women's Swimming and Diving Championships is Thursday through Saturday (March 16-18) in Athens, Ga., while the NCAA Men's Swimming and Diving Championships are March 23-25 in Atlanta.
