The USC women's rowing team headed up to Lake Natoma, Calif., the site of the Pac-10 Championships, for the week of spring break to train for its upcoming season. In preparation for the spring season, the Trojan's took on Sacramento State in a scrimmage on Friday, March 17.

Only the Varsity Eight and the Novice Eight participated in the scrimmage. They did not partake in official collegiate races, instead they competed in six sets of 500 meter races. Two of the races were with a start, two were body pieces and the final two were sprints. The Woman of Troy defeated Sacramento State in all pieces in both the Varsity Eight and Novice Eight.

The Trojans sprint into action Saturday, March 25 in a home race against Loyola Marymount. USC is looking to defend its Varsity Four Pac-10 title, and return to the NCAA Championships with a team bid for the second time in Trojan history.
