Anna Specjalska enters her third season in the USC program... in 2008 Specjalska stroked the varsity four boat to a third place finish at the Pac-10 Championships...Specjalska came out of the No. 3 seat in the varsity eight boat to help the crew finish second at the San Diego Crew Classic...at the Stanford Invitational Specjalska stroked the JV eight and beat Stanford...Specjalska rowed out of the No. 2 seat in the USC "A" four boat to finish first in the collegiate quad four plus coxswain race at the Head of the American Regatta...stroked the varsity four boat to a victory over UCLA in the dual meet...rowed out of the No. 3 seat in the varsity eight boat which finished tenth overall at the NCAA Championships...in 2007, rowed at the stroke position in the Third Varsity Eight in victories over LMU and Sacramento State... helped capture the women's open division Carley Copley Cup at the 2007 San Diego Crew Classic... stroked for the Varsity Four in victories at the Charles River Challenge and in a win over UCLA... rowed at stroke for the JV Eight at the Pac-10 Championships, leading the boat to a third place bronze medal finish and helping USC win its first Pac-10 Conference team championship... stroked the JV Eight to a top finish in the NCAA Championship petite final for seventh place overall.
Specjalska was a nine-year member of the Wloclawslue Tomarystro Wioslavskie Rowing club (1998-2006)... led her crew to a third place finish at the 2003 Junior World Championships... a four-year member of the Polish National Team... took first place in doubles at the 2003 U23 World Championships in Athens, Greece... rowed to a first place finish in doubles at the 2001 and 2002 Junior Polish Championships... a first place finish in the fours and second place in the doubles at the 2003 Junior Polish Championships... had a three-year gold medal run at the U23 Polish Championships (2004-2006)... a consistent medal winner in the doubles at the Polish Senior Championships winning gold in 2005, silver in 2004... finished in eighth in doubles at the 2005 U23 World Championships... finished tenth in the fours at the 2004 U23 World Championships... won the 2007 Polish National Championship in the fours and took silver in the pairs with fellow Trojan Magda Madziewicz.
