    THIS SEASON: Senior co-captain Dillon Connolly, USC's school record holder in the 100y and 200y breast, has improved each season at USC and is after his first All-American honor after becoming an NCAA point scorer as a junior.

    2010: As a 2010 junior, Connolly was 13th in the 100y breast (53.35) at the NCAA Championships, was 25th in the 200y breast (1:57.05) and also swam on USC's 400y medley relay ... At the 2010 Pac-10s, he was a two-time finalist, finishing third in the 100y breast (52.73, USC record) and eighth in the 200y breast (1:57.09). He was also 16th in the 200y IM (1:48.21).

    2009: Connolly, as a 2009 sophomore, made his NCAA Championships debut, taking 18th in the 100y breast (53.51) and 26th in the 200y breast (1:57.35) ... At the 2009 Pac-10 Championships, Connolly broke the school record in the 200y breast (1:55.47), erasing the eight-year old mark set by Ryosuke Imai (1:56.24). He finished ninth in the event. He also was 10th in the 400y IM (3:49.65) and 19th in the 200y IM (1:48.57).

    2008: As a 2008 freshman, Connolly raced in three events at the Pac-10 Championships, highlighted by an 11th-place finish in the 400y IM (3:52.89, season-best). He was also 13th in the 200y breast (2:00.11) and 24th in the 200y IM (1:53.08) ... At the 2008 U.S. Olympic Swimming Trials, Connolly was 35th in the 100m breast (1:03.41), 47th in the 200m breast (2:20.20) and 53rd in the 200m IM (2:06.39).

    HIGH SCHOOL: A graduate of Sprayberry High in Marietta, Ga., Connolly is an Olympic Trials qualifier in the 100m and 200m breast and the 200m IM ... At the 2007 U.S. Spring Nationals, he was fourth in the 100m breast (1:03.88) and seventh in the 200m breast (2:20.12) and was by far the youngest competitor in both finals heats. He was also 11th in the 200m IM (2:08.09), 20th in the 400m IM (4:35.10) and swam in the 50m free ... At the 2006 U.S. Summer Nationals, he was 13th in the 100m breast (1:03.61) and 11th in the both the 200m breast (2:18.26) and 200m IM (2:05.45). He also swam in the 400m IM ... Was a national 18&Under champion in the 200m IM in 2006.

    PERSONAL: Born Nov. 5, 1988 .... Enjoys working on cars ... He lists world-record holding breaststroker Brendan Hansen as biggest sports hero ... He is majoring in industrial systems engineering.
