    THIS SEASON: A 2007 senior, Viktor Bodrogi is one of the top 200y butterflyers in the country and a talented backstroker as well. A career five-time All-American and Hungarian Olympian who has improved each season at Troy, Bodrogi is a key component individually and on relays for the Trojans whose versatile makes him a valuable dual-meet performer ... He is USC's record holder in the 200y fly and is among USC's top 10 fastest ever in the 100y fly, 100y back, 200y back and 200y IM. He is also part of four Trojan relay records.

    2006: Bodrogi earned a career-best three All-American honors as a 2006 junior, swimming to third in the 200y fly (1:43.10) and swimming the backstroke leg on USC's sixth-place 200y and 400y medley relays. He also swam in the 100y back and 100y fly ... At the 2006 Pac-10 Championships, Bodrogi won his first conference title in the 200y fly in 1:42.35, breaking Stanford legend Pablo Morales' 1987 Pac-10 record of 1:42.60, not to mention USC's school mark of 1:42.94 set in 2002. He was also a consolation finalist in the 100y back and 200y IM ... Bodrogi, who owned USC's fastest times in 2006 not only in the 200y fly but also in both back events and the 200y IM, competed at the 2006 U.S. Spring Nationals, taking second in both the 100m back and 200m fly. He also swam on USC's first-place 400m free and medley relays ... At the 2006 European Championships, he was 15th in the 200m fly (2:01.33) and 24th in the 100m back (56.74).

    2005: Bodrogi earned All-American honors as the leadoff on both medley relays as a sophomore at the 2005 NCAA Championships, helping the Trojans to seventh in the 200y and eighth in the 400y ... He was also 22nd in both the 200y back (1:45.61) and the 100y back (48.55), 44th in the 200y IM (1:50.46) and swam on USC's 14th-place 200y free relay ... At the 2005 Pac-10 Championships, Bodrogi was second in the 200y fly (1:44.45), fourth in the 100y back (47.53) and ninth in the 200y IM (1:47.54)

    2004: Bodrogi joined the Trojans in the spring semester as a 2004 freshman and swam well enough to earn a spot at the NCAA Championships. At the NCAAs, he was 19th in the 200m back (1:57.74), 28th in the 100m back (54.74) and swam on USC's 800m free relay and 400m medley relay ... At the Pac-10 Championships, he was fourth in the 100y back and ninth in the 200y back. His 1:44.03 in the 200y back made him the sixth fastest Trojan ever in the event ... Bodrogi swam the 200m back at the 2004 Olympics, finishing 24th (2:03.16) in his second Olympics appearance.

    HUNGARY: The latest in a line of Hungarian swimmers competing for USC, Bodrogi has been among Hungary's top swimmers for some time and owns national titles in both the backstroke and butterfly. He also has competed internationally, representing Hungary at the 2003 World Championships in Barcelona in the 200 fly and the 200 back. He represented Hungary at the 2000 Olympics, swimming the 200 fly. He was also sixth at the 2001 World Championships in the 200m back.
