HIGH SCHOOL: Cunningham averaged 22.0 points, 15.0 rebounds and six blocked shot per game as a senior at Cibola High in Albuquerque, N.M. Led his team to a 13-1 record before suffering a season-ending left knee injury (ACL surgery). Cibola went 8-6 the rest of the season and ranked sixth in the state of New Mexico. Entered the season widely regarded as the top player in the state of New Mexico. Named to the 2005-06 Long Beach Press Telegram's Best in the West second team. PERSONAL: Cunningham was born on July 3, 1988. He is a Social Sciences and History major at USC. His father Paul played basketball at UTEP (1981-84), where he was recruited by former USC coach Tim Floyd who was an assistant coach under the late Don Haskins. Wears the No. 43 because that is the number his father wore. Outside of basketball, his dream job would be to make movies.
