Began his sophomore season with 10 strikeouts in 6.2 innings at Troy on February 24... Struck out six with no walks to earn his first win of the season at Maryland-Eastern Shore on March 2... Earned the win in his next outing, striking out nine batters in an 11-4 win over Iona on March 9... Struck out eight in six innings of work against Temple on March 23... Tallied eight K's with just one walk and three hits to pick up his third win of the season at Dayton on March 29... Stuck out six in six innings of work against Duquesne on April 6... Pitched six innings while striking out five in a 6-3 victory over Saint Louis on April 13... Had 10 strikout while walking one in 7.1 innings in a 1-0 loss to La Salle on April 26... Threw a complete-game shutout striking out a career high 13 batters to earn his fourth win of the year against Saint Joseph's on May 3... Was named to the College Baseball Foundation's National All-Star Lineup following his complete-game shutout victory over Saint Joseph's... Finished 2-3 with 39.2 innings pitched... Also recorded 34 strikeouts in 2007... Made his Rhody debut in the season-opener against Florida International University, pitching 1.2 innings and recording two strikeouts on Feb. 23... Pitched five innings, allowing no earned runs, while recorded three strikeouts against West Virginia on March 3... Earned his first win of the season, pitching 5.2 innings allowing just three earned runs on seven hits while striking out two batters, in a 9-3 victory over Sacred Heart on April 24... Picked up his second win of the season, pitching five innings and allowing just one run on four hits while striking out five batters, in a 5-4 victory over Siena on April 30... Pitched 5.1 innings, allowing just one earned run on three hits while striking out six batters, against Hartford on May 15... Threw 0.2 innings of relief with no earned runs in an 11-1 loss to top-seeded Charlotte at the Atlantic 10 Championship on May 24.

Was a four-year member of the soccer, basketball and baseball teams at Xavier High School...
