Kathy Burke grew up in Burrillville, R.I. and moved to Richmond, R.I. in 1983, where she currently resides with her husband Joe and two sons:Patrick and John.

Burke came to URI in 1986 and has working in Athletics since January of 2000, first as an Administrative Assistant in the Associate Director's office and currently as an interim Executive Assistant to the Athletic Director.

In her spare time, Burke enjoys reading, baking and spending time with her family. She also likes watching football, basketball and baseball and is an avid Red Sox fan.
