Her 141 strikeouts were seventh best in school history... In the batters box, she hit .214 with one home run... Missed four games with a broken nose sustained against San Diego State... In her first outing back she threw a three-hit shutout against those same Aztecs, in Las Vegas, to snap SDSU's 13-game winning streak... Earned MWC Pitcher of the Week honors for her shutout against SDSU... Snapped Colorado State's 13-game winning streak with a one-hitter and retiring 21 straight batters... Named All-MWC, and earned all-tournament honors at the Capitol Classic.
2002: Led the staff in wins (9), appearances (31), starts (20), innings pitched (150.0), saves (4), ERA (2.24) and strikeouts (125)... Also threw a team-best three shutouts... In her second week in the circle she was named MWC Pitcher of the Week for her 13-strikeouts against Kansas, a two-hitter against Central Michigan and saves over Texas Tech and Cal Poly... Chosen Pitcher of the Week for a second time on March 19, for her efforts at the Capitol Classic in Sacramento, Calif., where she tossed a one-hit shutout against Sacramento State and 18-consecutive scoreless innings... Tied the school record with four saves... Posted the school's ninth best single-season
strikeout total (125).
High School: A 2001 graduate of Winston H. Churchill HS in Eugene, Ore.... Was a four-year starter in softball... Led the Lancers to one state championship and a pair of Midwestern League titles... Earned letters in volleyball and basketball.
