2006: Named to the 2006 MWC All-Conference team... Started all 63 games, primarily in center field... Had a batting average of .274 with 55 hits (eight doubles and one home run)... Knocked in six RBI while scoring 28 runs... Stole 11 bases in 13 attempts... Had a six-game hitting streak, all six games on the road beginning at San Diego State (April 15) in which she hit .478 (11-for-23)... Scored the game-winning run on three occasions... Defensively, held a .944 fielding percentage while committing only four errors in 71 chances.
2006 International: Participated for the Team Canada Elite squad during the summer of 2006... Played in the Canada Cup (July 1-8 in Surrey, British Columbia).
2005: Started all 63 games, splitting time between right and center field... Had a batting average of .233 with 44 hits (eight doubles, four triples, one home run)... Plated 20 RBI and scored 19 runs... Had five stolen bases in seven attempts... Hit her first career home run against Cal State Northridge (Feb. 6)... Hit safely in seven-straight games, starting with Pacific (March 12), and held a .565 batting average with 13 hits and seven RBI in that stretch... Scored the game-winning run four times... Named the MWC Player of the Week on March 22 for hitting .800 (8-for-10) with three RBI and three runs scored... Defensively held a .950 fielding percentage while committing only three errors in 60 chances.
2005 International: Participated for Team Canada during the summer and fall of 2005... Played in the Canada Cup (July 2-11 in Surrey, British Columbia), the World Cup of Softball (July 14-18 in Oklahoma City, Okla.) and in the Pan Am Championships (Nov. 26-Dec. 3 in Guatamala City, Guatamala).
2004: As a true freshman she started 48 games in the outfield while appearing in 58... Led the team with 12 sacrifices ... Finished second with a .331 (48-for-145) batting average and tied for second in runs (22)... Placed fourth in hits (48), stolen bases (6) and tied for fourth in walks (13)... Was third in on-base percentage (.384)... Had the fifth-best slugging percentage (.379) and total bases (55)... Had 12 multiple hit games (10 two-hitters and two three-hitters)... Had two three-hit games, which included a double in each, against UTEP (Feb. 21) and Jacksonville (March 13).
High School: A 2003 honors graduate of El Dorado HS in Placentia, Calif.... Lettered four times in softball... Led the Golden Hawks to the CIF Southern Division II championship and one Empire League title... Named to three straight all-Empire League teams and was chosen the league's Best Offensive Player as a senior... Played travel ball with the Case Batbusters 18-under Gold Team that finished in 5th in the national tournament... Lettered twice in volleyball as a defensive specialist.
Personal: Brittany Nichole Freight was born Sept. 8, 1985, in Forth Worth, Texas... The daughter of Nigel and Lori Freight... Has one sister, Alyssa... Majoring in communication studies.
