2003: Played in all 60 games and started 57 at second base... Finished second on the team in batting average (.271) and led the squad in on-base percentage (.343)... Struck out just 16 times in 155 at bats... Named Academic All-MWC.
2002: Played in every game and started all but two... Earned starts at first, second and short... Finished fourth on the team in hit hitting (.284) and third in home runs (4)... A great contact hitter who led the team in sac flies and struck out just once every 10 at bats... Earned MWC Player of the Week honors on April 30 after leading the Rebels to four straight league wins with two homers and a .500 (6-for-12) average... An Academic All-MWC choice.
High School: A 2001 honors graduate of South Salem HS in Salem, Ore... Was a two-sport star, earning eight letters in both softball and basketball... Was a four-year starter on the diamond for coach Scott McCormick... Led the Saxons to the quarterfinals of the Class 4A state tournament and a 22-10 overall record as a senior... A four-time All-Valley League choice, earning second team all-state honors as a senior... Has seven years of summer ASA experience... Named the Most Valuable Player of the Oregon All-Star game... Also earned second team all-league honors in basketball.
Personal: Morgan Dawn Bostwick was born Oct. 22, 1982, in Steamboat Springs, Colo.... The daughter of Dawn and Jim Bostwick... Has one brother, Taylor (17)... Enjoys surfing, snowboarding, wakeboarding and water skiing... Lists her parents as her biggest influence... Majoring in recreation.
