Transferred to Lynwood for her senior year, and was named first team All-CIF and second team all-state while leading the team to a 32-1 record and a state championship ... averaged 16.7 points, seven rebounds, three assists, and three steals ... named First Team All-CIF three times, and was a three-time all-state honoree ... also a First Team All-San Gabriel Valley League and two-time First Team All-Dream Team member ... Kameca Monique Simmons ... born on Aug. 1, 1985 ... daughter of Melvin and Kathleen Simmons ... has seven brothers (Marquis, Maurice, Marcello, Marcel, Marlin, Marvin, and Melvin III) and three sisters (Kolena, Katina, and Marquita) ... brother Marvin played football for Kansas State, and another, Marlin plays for California ... the rest of her brothers are all playing football in high school ... chose UNLV over USC and California ... majoring in psychology.
