Chat Live With Head Coach Mike Sanford
UNLV head coach Mike Sanford will chat live with Rebel fans on Friday at 3:00 p.m. [ + ] UNLV football conducted a pair of practices Monday and the evening belonged to cornerback Geoffery Howard (San Diego, CA/Grossmont), who made several plays on a cool evening. [ + ] Expecting to reign down like thunder on opposing offense this fall is defensive lineman Thor Pili (Orem, UT/Snow College), who has been nearly impossible to block during fall camp. And after a couple honorable mentions, Pili was wearing the Black Jersey to open up Monday's two-a-day session. [ + ] Yogi Berra would have been shaking his head at UNLV `s practice on Sunday, as a pair of Rebels were wearing the Black Jersey for a second time in camp. [ + ] Defense was the theme of the day during UNLV football's first full scrimmage of fall camp, with several big plays highlighting the nearly two-hour scrum. [ + ] UNLV went through two practice sessions on Friday, starting the day in Rebel Gear and then ending it with a brisk workout in helmets and shorts. [ + ]
