CHAPEL HILL --- North Carolina begins the second half of its Atlantic Coast Conference schedule Thursday and Friday with a pair of matches against Virginia Tech and Virginia. Both matches will be played at Carmichael Auditorium at 7 p.m.

Carolina (6-14, 4-7 ACC) dropped both of its matches to the Virginia schools earlier in the season, falling in three in Blacksburg and dropping a 3-1 decision in Charlottesville. Virginia Tech is 12-9, 6-6 in league play, while Virginia is 15-6, 8-4 in the ACC.

The Tar Heels are coming off a perfect weekend that featured three-game sweeps of Maryland and Boston College.
