A senior from Powder Springs, Ga., Beaver had 10 kills and four blocks and hit .346 in the victory over Maryland. In the sweep of BC, Beaver hit .348 with 10 kills and four blocks. The home sweep marked the first two-match winning streak in league play so far in 2006 for the Tar Heels.
