CAMP DIRECTOR
JOE SAGULA, Head Coach at the University of North Carolina, is in his thirteenth season in Chapel Hill. He is the director and primary clinician for the Carolina Volleyball Camps. The Tar Heels have been built into one of the top programs in the country. Sagula's teams have made four consecutive trips to the NCAA tournament, won a regular-season conference title in 1998 and ACC Championships in 1999, 2000 and 2001 on their way to a Top Twenty-five national ranking. In '98 Sagula was selected the ACC Coach of the Year and has also been named AVCA/NCAA District 3/East Region Coach of the Year in 1998 and 2001.

Over the past 20 years Sagula has compiled a 442-281 overall record at both UNC and the University of Pennsylvania. While at Penn he was also named the Ivy League Coach of the Year four consecutive seasons. In addition Sagula was Penn's head men's volleyball coach from 1981-89. KIRAN MISTRY Assistant Coach & Staff Director
Kiran, now a veteran assistant with the Tar Heels since 1998. Prior to joining the UNC Staff he spent four years as an assistant at the University of Kansas. A native of Calgary, Alberta, Canada, Mistry has coached at all levels with both men's and women's teams in Canada and the US. Kiran serves as first assistant and the recruiting coordinator for the Tar Heels.

STAFF COACHES
Since the beginning of our camps, the single most important factor has been the superb coaching. In addition to the Tar Heel coaching staff and players, the camp staff will consist of collegiate players, outstanding NCAA & NAIA collegiate coaches, high school and junior high school coaches as well as highly respected junior development (USAV) coaches from the Carolina region and through out the country. The camper to counselor ratio will be 8 to 1, allowing each camper to receive individual attention as well as small group instruction. Many of the Carolina Volleyball Camp staff coaches return every summer because they enjoy the way in which Carolina camps are run and coaching the quality players who attend camp. Each summer special guest coaches (college coaches or national collegiate players) work at Carolina, that provides a great experience for all.
