Chapel Hill, N.C. - The Tar Heels defeated the Campbell Camels 3-0 (15-4, 15-11, 15-6) Saturday in the second match of the Carolina Classic to increase their record to 2-0 in the tournament and 6-3 overall.

Many of Carolina's reserves saw valuable playing time in the match, with Lindsay Cannon and Holly Strauss seeing their first action of the season. Holly Strauss, Melissa Higgins, Krista Buchholz and Kathy Konczal played all three games in the match.

UNC's usual stars Shannon Smith and Asa Gustavsson were rested during the match and Casey Simpson played in only the third game.
