Mojzis, Cline Earn All-Conference Honors For Women's Tennis

GREENSBORO, N.C. - The Atlantic Coast Conference announced on Thursday the 2004 All-Conference Team for women's tennis. The University of North Carolina's Aniela Mojzis and Kendall Cline both made the 18-member team.

Mojzis, currently ranked 28th in the nation, finished ACC play at 5-3. In her final regular season match, she pulled an upset win 6-1, 6-3 over ACC Conference Player of the Year Julie Coin of Clemson who is ranked eighth nationally.

Cline finished 3-5 in the ACC, taking three of her four losses to third sets. Cline and Mojzis, both juniors, are currently ranked 23rd in doubles. The pair posted a final ACC record of 8-1. Their only loss, to Florida State's Roxanne Clarke and Mihaela Moldovan, was in a tiebreaker at 9-8(2).

The Tar Heels, seeded third in the ACC Tournament, play fourth-seeded Georgia Tech on Friday at noon at the Millbrook Exchange Tennis Center in Raleigh, N.C.
