Women's Tennis Named No. 3 Seed In ACC Championships
April 15, 2003 CHAPEL HILL - The 12th-ranked University of North Carolina women's tennis team will be the third seed in the ACC Tennis Championships. The Tar Heels will take on 49th-ranked and sixth-seed Florida State at 3 p.m. Friday, April 18 at the Millbrook Exchange Park in Raleigh. Should Carolina beat Florida State, the Tar Heels could take on either Maryland, Wake Forest or Clemson in semifinal action Saturday, April 19 at 1 p.m. The finals of the ACC Championships will be held Sunday, April 20 at 11 a.m. Other ACC teams are seeded as follows:

2- #17 Clemson
3- #12 UNC
4- #23 Ga Tech- #23
5- #32 UVA
6- #49 FSU-
7- Maryland
8- Wake
9- NCState
