Upper Iowa traveled to Concordia-St. Paul in their fourth Northern Sun Conference match. The Bears cruised through the match and defeated the Peacocks in three games by the scores of 30-15, 30-21, 30-17. Concordia-St. Paul tallied 53 Kills with a .370 Hitting %, 50 Assists, and 43 Digs, while Upper Iowa only managed 22 Kills with a .011 Hitting %, 19 Assists, and 25 Digs.
Upper Iowa was led by Senior Libero Stephanie Smith (Lewisburg, OH), who had 12 defensive digs. Keri Vance (FR/Tampa, FL) registered 9 Assists, while Shea Meyerman (FR/Camanche, IA) and Michelle Truszkowski (SR/Lansing, IL) totaled 6 Kills each. The Peacocks are eager to get back on the floor. Luckily, they won’t have to wait long. The Warriors of Winona State will be coming to Dorman Gym this Tuesday, the 19th, at 7:00 p.m. for a Northern Sun contest. |
