Lauren Christman set a course record to help the UCSB women's cross country squad regain the Big West title Saturday at Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo. The senior harrier from Santa Cruz posted a time of 21:07.5 to earn the individual crown as the Gauchos totaled just 26 points, their best score ever at the Big West Championships. It was an all-around stellar effort by UCSB as seven of the top 10 spots were filled by Gaucho runners. Next up will be the NCAA Regionals in Portland, Ore. Nov. 11.
