Jamie Considine is in her first season as an assistant coach for UC Santa Barbara. She will work primarily with the goalkeepers.
Considine joined the Gaucho coaching staff after completing her playing career at UCSB in 2005. A four-year starter at goalkeeper, Considine ranks high on several of the school's all-time statistical top-tens. In her four seasons, the San Diego, Calif., native appeared in 73 matches, starting 70. She ranks first in school history in minutes played among goalkeepers, is second with 26 shutouts and third with 293 saves.
Considine earned her degree in sociology with a minor in history. She is also working towards a teaching credential and hopes to continue coaching at the collegiate level as well. Considine's hobbies include playing guitar, surfing, snowboarding and traveling.
