UCSB Swimmers Fall at USC in Non-Conference Meet

LOS ANGELES - The UC Santa Barbara's men's swimming team lost a dual match to USC by a score of 175-87 on January 10 at USC's McDonald's Swim Stadium. Despite the loss, several Gauchos posted strong swims. Pat Cary was UCSB's lone winner, finishing first in the 200 butterfly. He also placed second in the 100 fly while David Deloria was second in the 200 freestyle. UCSB's Garrett Porteous followed Deloria, finishing third in the 200 free. Gaucho Brett Nolan also finished third in the 800 freestyle.

The Gauchos are in action again on January 24 when they host UNLV at 10:00 am in Campus Pool.
