SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - UC Santa Barbara will offer a variety of fan-friendly ticket packages to its 2006-07 men's and women's basketball games, Assistant Athletics Director for Marketing Joe Castiglia announced Wednesday.
The "Gaucho Flex Pack" allows fans to choose which games and how many they want to attend. The "Gaucho Flex Pack" consists of five tickets for the price of four and can be utilized for men's or women's games.
"This is a great opportunity for fans who may not be able to attend all the games with a regular season ticket package, but want the flexibility of picking and choosing," Castiglia said. "For example, if you purchase a Gaucho Flex Pack you can attend one game and bring four of your friends, or go to five games by yourself, you may also want to go to two women's games and three men's games. This allows the consumer numerous options and great flexibility."
The "Coca-Cola Gaucho Family Pack" allows families to attend games at a greatly discounted rate. For $40 dollars a family will receive four tickets, four hot dogs, four Coca-Cola products and four t-shirts. In all, the "Coca-Cola Gaucho Family Pack" will represent an $80.00 for $40.00. The following games will be available as part of the package:
Men's Basketball: 11/29/06 vs. Loyola Marymount 1/13/07 vs. UC Davis 2/10/07 vs. Long Beach State, 3/3/07 vs. Cal State Northridge
Women's Basketball: 11/17/06 vs. Oregon 12/09/06 vs. Loyola Marymount 1/11/07 vs. Utah Valley State 2/03/07 vs. UC Davis
"Thanks to our friends at Coca-Cola we are able to offer an outstanding value to families who want to attend games but find the cost to be an issue," Castiglia commented. "We are offering this deal for four men's games and four women's games spread over four months so families can enjoy all the excitement of Gaucho Basketball throughout the entire season at a family-friendly price".
