Davis saw increased minutes as the season went on and had a career-high 10 points and seven rebounds in the home finale against Texas-Arlington. Putnam closed out the awards presentation by winning the inaugural Martha Powell Award, which replaced the Bobcat Pride and Leadership Award. Named after one of the strongest supporters of Texas State women's basketball, the award recognizes the player who best exemplifies determination, loyalty and perseverance.
