LAFAYETTE, La. - Texas State sophomore Corey Roberson shot a one-under par 143 during the opening two rounds of the 21st Annual Louisiana Classics to head into Tuesday's final 18 holes in a tie for 15th.

Roberson shot a 72 in the morning before a 71 later in the day at Oakbourne Country Club.

As a team, Texas State shot a two-round 593 and is currently in 14th place at the tournament. The Bobcats are just 10 strokes out of the Top 10.

A pair of Southland Conference schools is atop the team standings after the first two rounds. Southeastern Louisiana leads the field with a 562 while Lamar is in second after shooting a two-round 568 Monday.

Kansas' Gary Woodland shot a 135 during Monday's play and leads the field individually.
