SAN MARCOS - Texas State basketball coach Doug Davalos has been invited to speak at the opening ceremonies for the 2007 Little Dribblers Basketball National Tournament in Brownfield later this month.

Davalos will speak to a group of 10,000 to 15,000 players, coaches and parents during the opening ceremonies for the national tournament which takes place April 25-28 just outside of Lubbock.

Little Dribblers Basketball was created to develop the skill level of elementary and junior high boys and girls interested in playing the sport. The national tournament being held in Brownfield is for boys ages 14 and under.
