SAN MARCOS - Texas State University will play host to five schools as well as a large contingent of high school cross country programs Saturday during the running of the Texas State Classic at Gary Job Corps.

In addition to the host Bobcats, running in the intercollegiate meet will be Huston-Tillotson, Prairie View A&M, Texas Southern, Texas and Texas A&M-International.

The men's collegiate division will run at 8:45 a.m. and the course at Gary Job Corps will cover five miles. The women's collegiate division will run at 9:15 a.m. on a three-mile course. The high school meets will also be run Saturday morning. Gary Job Corps is located just east of San Marcos on Highway 21.
