SAN MARCOS - With now a more focused effort on raising money for scholarships, Texas State University's Bobcat Club will kickoff its membership campaign Thursday when the organization holds a kickoff party in the Sac-N-Pac Room of Bobcat Stadium's End Zone Complex.

The reception will run from 5:30 to 7 p.m. with light snacks and beverages being served. The gathering will be an opportunity for fans of Texas State athletics to learn more about the new Bobcat Club and its direction.

Fans will have an opportunity to meet Texas State coaches and athletic administrators as well as sign up for membership in the Bobcat Club. Season football ticket information will also be available at the event.
