Game Information
· The University of Texas-Pan American women's basketball team hosts Utah Valley State College in its final game of the 2006-07 campaign on Saturday (Mar. 3) at the UTPA Fieldhouse with game-time set for 2:00 p.m.

In Their Last Meeting
· The Utah Valley State women's basketball team improved its overall record to 12-11 on the season as the Wolverines posted a 75-54 victory over The University of Texas-Pan American in Orem, UT, on Saturday evening (Feb. 10).
· Senior Robyn Fairbanks led the Wolverines to victory as the UVSC center as she posted a game-high 27 points on 9-of-16 shooting to go along with 8-of-9 from the free throw line. She also added four rebounds, two steals and one assist in 22 minutes of action.
·UTPA junior Tiona Wilson led the Lady Broncs with 11 points on 4-of-4 shooting, including a trio of three-pointers, while freshman Rose Esther Jean added 10 points, five rebounds and one steals in 24 minutes of action.
In Their Last Game -
Monterrey Tech
· The University of Texas-Pan American women's basketball team routed Monterrey Tech in an exhibition contest on Tuesday (Feb. 27) by a score of 76-45 at the UTPA Fieldhouse.
· Four Lady Broncs scored in double-figures on the evening in LeKeisha Gray, Aleeya Grigsby, Teshay Winfrey and MaHogany Daniel who finished with a double-double (points-rebounds) with 13 points and 10 rebounds.
Daniel Reaches Milestone
· Senior MaHogany Daniel recorded her 100th career game against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi on Monday (Jan.15) while surpassing the 500-point mark in her fourth year as a Lady Bronc. Daniel joins Naima Williams (1999-03) as the only two Lady Broncs to record more than 500 points and 500 rebounds in their careers. Currently, the lone senior on the squad is sixth all-time in steals (143) and first in blocks (124) in her career while also ranking among UTPA's best in a season in blocked shots (51), a category she already ranks fourth in when she totaled 34 blocked shots in the 2004-05 campaign.
Scouting the Opponent
Utah Valley State
· The Wolverines contest against the Lady Broncs also marks the end the season for UVSC. Win or lose, the Wolverines finish with the best record in program history in which they currently reside with a 14-13 record, including 4-5 in United Basketball League play.
With a victory, UVSC will improve to above .500 for the first time since making the transition to NCAA Division I basketball.
· UVSC is currently riding a two-game with streak which includes wins over IPFW (74-71) and New Jersey Institute of Technology (71-40).
· Sophomore Robyn Fairbanks and Julie McMurray swept the Division I Independent awards, earning Player of the Week and Newcomer of the Week respectively. Fairbanks has won the award five times over the course of the season while McMurray has earned the Newcomer honor three times in the last four weeks.
