Game Information
· The Lady Broncs host North Dakota State University in United Basketball League play on Thursday (Jan. 25) at the UTPA Fieldhouse with tip-time set for 7:00 p.m.

· Head Coach Amy Ruley is in her 27th year at the helm, and has a career record of 647-184 as the head women's basketball coach at North Dakota State University.

· In their last game, NDSU was defeated by Arkansas State University in Fargo, ND, on Saturday (Jan. 20) by a score of 64-61.

· Arkansas State held off a late rally by NDSU in the final two minutes of the game to pick up the victory.

Oral Roberts University
· The Lady Broncs suffered a setback when they fell to Oral Roberts University by a score of 68-47 on Friday (Jan. 19) in Tulsa, OK, at the Mabee Center.

· The Golden Eagles held all UTPA scorers to single-digits on the evening.

· The Lady Broncs fell to 8-12 on the season while the victory improved the Golden Eagles to 11-7.

Daniel Reaches Milestone
· Senior MaHogany Daniel recorded her 100th career game against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi on Monday (Jan.15) while surpassing the 500-point mark in her fourth year as a Lady Bronc. Daniel joins Naima Williams (1999-03) as the only two Lady Broncs to record more than 500 points and 500 rebounds in their careers. Currently, the lone senior on the squad is sixth all-time in steals (135) and first in blocks (105) in her career while also ranking among UTPA's best in a season in blocked shots (30), a category she already ranks fourth in when she totaled 34 blocked shots in the 2004-05 campaign.

Lady Broncs Continue to Dominate Weekly Awards
· Most recently, Gray earned Independent Newcomer of the Week honors on January 23rd. She led the Lady Broncs with 13.5 scoring average to go along with 5.5 rebounds and one steal per game in a 1-1 week for UTPA. Gray finished with a game-high 18 points on 7-of-12 shooting, including a trio of three-pointers, to go along with seven rebounds, two steals and one assist in a 54-48 victory over Texas A&M-Corpus Christi on Jan. 15. In one stretch, Gray scored 13 of the Lady Broncs' 17 points during a 17-3 scoring run during the first half of victory over the Islanders. She also finished with a team-high nine points on the road at Oral Roberts on Jan. 19.

Scouting the Opponent
North Dakota State University
· The Bison are 7-8 on the season while holding a 5-2 home record and a 1-5 road record, including 1-1 at neutral sites.

· This marks the first UBL game NDSU will be taking part in.

· The Bison have two players averaging in double-figures in the scoring column in Guard Lisa Bue (14.5 ppg) and Forward Brenda Slyt (11.5 ppg).

· NDSU is averaging 62.1 points per game while allowing 62.5, giving them a -0.4 scoring margin.
