UTPA Golf to be Featured on Golf Channel

The University of Texas-Pan American men's and women's golf programs will be featured on the Golf Channel on Wednesday (June 6) at 2:00 Central Time.

The Golf Channel will produce five one-hour programs that will beginning airing on Wednesday (June 6) and will feature a review of the competition from all six collegiate divisions participating at the 21st PGA National Minority College Golf Championships. The program will be repeated on June 23rd beginning 3:00 p.m. Central Time.

The Golf Channel programming will feature what the PGA Club considered "some of the best competition in the 21-year history of the event" where the Broncs rallied on the final nine holes of competition to outlast Bethune-Cookman, Florida A&M and Jackson State to capture the title.

The Lady Broncs will also be profiled as the UTPA women's golf team finished second overall to Bethune-Cookman for the second consecutive season.

The program will be repeated on June 23rd beginning at 3:00 Central Time.
