Joins the Broncs as a sophomore after pitching at THE UNIVERSITY OF CENTRAL ARKANSAS as a freshman.......Went 5-4 with a 4.98 earned run average last spring for the Bears......Started all 12 of the games he appeared in.....Pitched four complete games..........Walked only 14 batters in 59 2/3 innings.......Led UCA in innings pitched, fewest walks, and earned run average..........Pitched a complete-game victory against Valdosta State in the Gulf South Conference Tournament........Won a pivotal game against Harding in GSC play.....Went 6-3 with a 2.80 ERA as a senior at MAGNOLIA HIGH SCHOOL.......Walked just 12 and struck out 78 in 57 innings......... Was 3-1 with a 1.12 ERA, and walked just seven while striking out 37 in 31 innings in district play.... Walked just 26 hitters in 116 innings in his last two years at MHS.......Named first team All-District and first team All-County.
