2007 [Freshman Season]
Bourn appeared in 40 games and started in 33 contests his first season with the Broncs... posted a .216 batting average with 24... collected five doubles, nine walks, and one home run... drove in eight runs while plating 13 runs...connected on his first collegiate home run against University of Texas at San Antonio (Apr. 17) where he drove one run...recorded his first hit and RBI against University of Oklahoma (Feb. 4)... collected three hits including one RBI to go along with one run scored against Prairie View A&M (Apr. 15)... recorded one hit including one double to go along with one run scored and a walk versus Illinois - Chicago (Feb. 9)... notched two hits, including one double versus nationally-ranked University of Texas (Apr. 24).
Warren High School
Bourn was a second team All-Texas State Baseball Coaches Association selection following his senior season where he posted a .407 batting average with 28 runs scored and 16 RBI as the lead-off hitter for Warren High School... cited with All-District 27-5A honors in each of his four seasons for the Warriors... recorded 14 stolen bases during his senior campaign... posted a 7-1 record on the mound with a 0.99 earned run average while striking out 54 hitters in 49.1 innings of action... selected as the Most Valuable Player for his prep team on three occasions... earned All-Area honors as an outfielder during his junior and senior campaigns... posted a .430 career batting average and held the city mark with 144 career hits... holds the program record for batting average, hits, doubles, runs, walks and stolen bases at Warren High School... holds the single-season record for batting average, doubles, home runs, runs scored, walks and stolen bases... was a three-time All-District 27-5A performer on the football field at quarterback, punter and wide receiver... earned eight letters during his prep career - four in baseball and four in football... was a member of the San Antonio Titans during the summer months where he collected a .530 batting average after his senior season.
