Kim Sentmore put down a team high 16 kills.

HOUSTON-- The Tulane (7-6, 1-2 C-USA) volleyball team was stunned by Jennifer Wittenburg's 27 kills and fell to Houston (9-3, 3-0 C-USA) 3-0 on Sunday. The game scores were 15-12, 15-6 and 15-8.
Wittenburg averaged nine kills a game and hit .457 on the match. Houston put down 60 kills compared to the Waveâs 39. The win extends UHâs streak to 14 over the Wave.
Tulane's Kim Sentmore put down a team high 16 kills. Erin Dobyanski recorded nine digs, also a team high, and nine kills. Lauren Jones-McClain had four blocks.
The Green Wave hosts Nicholls State on Tuesday, Sept. 26. The match will be played I Fogelman Arena at 7 p.m. |
