Ten Upcoming Tulane Basketball Games to be Televised

NEW ORLEANS - Tulane's men's and women's basketball teams will be featured on 10 television broadcasts during the remainder of the 2002-03 regular season, with even more opportunities scheduled during the Conference USA Men's and Women's Basketball Tournaments.

Four Tulane men's road games will be televised in New Orleans on Cox Sports Television (cable channel 37), beginning with the Wave's game at C-USA power Cincinnati on Saturday, Jan. 18 at 1 p.m. Other Tulane road games scheduled for broadcast are Feb. 4 at Houston (7 p.m.), March 1 at Saint Louis (1 p.m.) and March 5 at South Florida (6 p.m.). The Green Wave's home contest with conference powerhouse Memphis on Feb. 13 will be broadcast live from Fogelman Arena on ESPN2 beginning at 8 p.m. All times listed are Central.

The Tulane women's team will be featured twice this season on ESPN2 national broadcasts and will also have two airings on Cox Sports Television. The Green Wave's game at C-USA defending champion Cincinnati at 2 p.m. Feb. 2 will air on ESPN2 as will the meeting between Tulane and TCU in Fogelman Arena at 1 p.m. Feb. 23. Cox Sports Television will show the Tulane-Marquette match-up from Fogelman Feb. 7 and the March 2 game at Charlotte at Noon. In addition, Tulane's game at South Florida Feb. 14 at 6 p.m. is scheduled to be broadcast by Fox Sports Florida with a local carrier still to be determined.

In addition to the regular season broadcasts, games from both men's and women's C-USA Tournaments in Louisville and Memphis, respectively, have been picked up by Cox Sports Television. Cox TV will broadcast the semifinals of the women's tournament on March 8 and will carry the quarterfinals and semifinals of the C-USA men's tournament on March 13-14.
