Head Coach Lisa Stockton
"In the second half, we tried to be more patient on offense. In the first half, our offense was coming from our defense, so we felt like slowing down our offense, taking good jump shots from the top of the key, and we did that in the second half."

"We felt [the post players] were open, so we tried to not just get them the ball, but give them the ball in a position to score. And we did a better job in the second half of doing that. We had to take it to the basket a little more. D'Aundra Henry drove the basket more, creating fouls and things like that. As a team, we were more aggressive."

"I was more happy with our full court defense than our half court defense in the first half. We gave up a lot of points - we forced 23 turnovers and still gave up 70 points."

"I think it's hard to get into your season and play every two or three days and then all the sudden have 11 days off. This is my 13th season here at Tulane, so I know exams are tough here. The kids are very stressed out about it, so it's good to have this one over. Any team this time of year, you have to respect. Lamar played very hard."

Senior Guard D'Aundra Henry
"I think we just had to come out and play hard. In the first half we were letting them penetrate and that didn't go so well for us. So in the second half, we tried to stay in front of them, limit their shots at the goal."

Sophomore Guard Ashley Langford
"We had a sluggish first half, I think that had to do with the break. We just needed to pick up the intensity. In the second half, we definitely did a better job and I think that made the difference."

"I don't think that was my best game, but I'm definitely trying to concentrate and play my best. I'm trying to focus and be consistent. We have some big games coming up, our tournament is going to be huge."
