NEW ORLEANS - Tulane will hold its 2005 Fall Kickoff Luncheon on Tuesday, August 23, 2005 at Noon at Dickie Brennan's Steakhouse. Fans are invited to hear head coaches Chris Scelfo (football), Betsy Anderson (soccer) and Liz Kritza (volleyball), along with Green Wave athletic director Rick Dickson, discuss their upcoming seasons and the latest Tulane Athletics happenings. Only 60 spots are available at the luncheon and tickets are on sale for $30 each.

Reservations will be taken until the space is filled. Dickie Brennan's Steakhouse is located at 716 Iberville St. in the French Quarter.

The Green Wave sports seasons get underway on Friday, Aug. 26th when both the Tulane soccer and volleyball teams will be in action at home. The Tulane football season opens Sunday, Sept. 4 when the Green Wave travel to Hattiesburg, Miss. to take on Conference USA foe Southern Miss in a nationally-televised (ESPN2) contest.
