One of two seniors on the Green Wave track and field team, Aisha Otori is also one of the top jumpers for Tulane. During the 2003 indoor season, Otori recorded a career-best triple jump of 38 feet, four and three-quarter inches. She also placed eighth at the Conference USA Championships in that event. In the long jump, Otori finished 10th at the C-USA Championships with a career-best distance of 17 feet, eight and a quarter inches. During the 2002 Outdoor Track season, she had her best finish in at the conference championships when she earned three points for a sixth place effort in the triple jump. Born in Lagos, Nigeria, Otori attended high school in Metairie. She is majoring in chemical engineering at Tulane.
