FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - Tulane University had just three athletes in action at the final day of action at the Tyson Invitational on Saturday at the University of Arkansas.

Freshman Angel Dooley (Columbus, Ohio) had a strong run in the finals of the 60-meter dash, posting a time of 7.64 seconds, the third-best time in school history.

Freshman Helmi Leppanen jumped 5-01.75 in the high jump to take 13th place, while for the Wave men, sophomore Joshua Johnson (Cola, S.C.) had a triple jump of 48-11.50.

In Friday's action, Tulane's Solomon Kandie (Nairobi, Kenya) surpassed the NCAA Provisional qualifying time in the mile run with a time of 4:04.90.

The Wave returns to action at the Gator Invitational on Feb. 10 in Gainesville, Fla.
