LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech volleyball program announced its 2004 spring and fall schedule today. Tech will see spring action on March 27 when it hosts the Texas Tech Spring Tournament, with a field of six teams, at the United Spirit Arena.

After starting action at home, the squad will have two more chances to showcase its talents during the spring. Tech will compete at the UTEP Spring Tournament in El Paso, Texas on April 9th before hosting the 2004 Spring Fling on April 17th in Lubbock, Texas.

The fall schedule will include two tournaments, San Diego Tournament and Texas Tech Tournament, before Big 12 conference play. The San Diego Tournament will feature San Diego State, Santa Barbara and Wichita State while Tech will play host to North Texas, UTEP and UT-Pan American. The 2003 schedule saw Tech open the season on a ten-match road streak before opening conference play at home.
