Today's game marked the 32nd all-time meeting between Texas Tech and Missouri. Tech's 3-2 win over the Tigers now gives the Red Raiders an 18-17 lead in the all-time series. The sweep over Missouri is Tech's first over the Tigers since the 2002 season (March 29-31).

Freshman left fielder Roger Kieschnick has now hit safely in 44 of 52 games this season and picked up his team-leading 29th multiple-hit game of the year. Kieschnick went 3-for-4 with one run scored to earn his eighth three-hit game of the season.
Sophomore Matt Smith is now hitting .394 on the season after going 3-for-4 with an RBI. Smith has 46 RBI on the season along with 15 doubles and seven home runs.
Colt Hynes' complete game is the fifth by a Red Raider this season and his second. Miles Morgan leads the staff with three complete games.
The Tech defense went error free for the 18th time this season and has been clean in eight of the last 12 contests. Since committing a season-high six errors against Kansas State on April 15, Tech has committed just six errors and put together a fielding percentage of .987.
