  • Texas Tech snapped a season-long four game losing skid with today's 15-6 win over Dallas Baptist. Tech now leads the all-time series against DBU 5-3 and scored a total of 36 runs against the Patriots in the two combined wins (last win was in the Midland College Classic in Feb.).
  • Sophomore left fielder Chris Richburg became the first Tech player since Michael Mask (April 14, 2004 vs. Howard Payne) to total seven RBIs in a single game.
  • Richburg joined Roger Kieschnick and Kyle Martin as the only players on the squad to hit a grand slam home run this season.
  • Sophomore right-fielder Roger Kieschnick is now tied for fifth place on the single-season doubles list at Texas Tech with 24. He also extended his current hit streak to nine games.
