PHILADELPHIA - The Temple women's tennis team returned to Philadelphia to face nationally-ranked Penn at the Levy Pavillion Tuesday afternoon. The Owls lost to the #32 Quakers, 6-1.
Senior Danira Penic picked up the team's lone point with a 6-2, 3-6, 6-3 win at number one singles. Penic also teamed with sophomore Ana Maslesa at number one doubles for an 8-4 win. The Owls, 1-10, now travel to Pittsburgh to take on Atlantic 10 rivals Duquesne (3/19) and Xavier (3/20). Penn improves to 10-3. #32 Penn 6, Temple 1 Singles 1 - Danira Penic (T) def.
