JACKSONVILLE, FL - Senior Danira Penic dropped a tough 2-6, 6-0, 10-7, match to unbeaten freshman Emese Sulyos at number one singles to lead host Jacksonville to a 6-1 win over Temple Sunday afternoon at the Alexander Brest Tennis Complex. The loss ended the Owls three-match spring trip.
Temple, which falls to 1-8 on the year, picked up its lone win from Lauren Verrall, 6-3, 6-3, at number three singles. The Owls, 1-8, return home to play at Penn Tuesday, March 16.
