CAPE COD, MA - Senior Alli Lokey has been named an ECAC Division I Field Hockey All-Star, the league announced today. Lokey is the only Atlantic 10 field hockey player to receive the honor.

Lokey earned the Second Team All-American honors from the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) and womensfieldhockey.com. She led the A-10 in eight different statistical categories at the end of the season and was named the conference's Offensive Player Of The Year. The Bainbridge, PA native is the first A-10 Offensive Player of the Year not from Richmond since 2001. She is a member of the 2007 First Team Mid-Atlantic Region team.

She ranked second in the nation for overall goals and points at the end of Temple's season. Lokey also ranked third in points per game, and fourth in goals per game. She was named to the NFHCA 2007 Senior All-Star team and earned A-10 All-Championship honors. Lokey earned Atlantic 10 Player Of The Week four times this season and was a one time womensfieldhockey.com Player Of The Week.

After finishing her senior season, Lokey ranks seventh on Temple's single season points list, tied for eighth on Temple's single season goals list, and sixth on Temple career goals and points list.

The ECAC is the nation's largest athletic and the only multi-divisional conference, with a membership of 320 Division I, II, and III colleges and universities stretching from Maine to North Carolina. The ECAC honors more than 3,000 student-athletes during the academic year through its all-star and player of the week programs. Each week, the conference has recognized six field hockey athletes, including a player and goalkeeper, in Divisions I, II and III.

American University senior defender Denise Infante has been chosen as the 2007 ECAC Division I Field Hockey Player of the Year. Katie O'Donnell of Maryland has been chosen as the 2007 ECAC Division I Rookie of the Year.
