PHILADELPHIA (Nov. 5, 2000)- Temple Field Hockey's Michelle Murawski was named to the Atlantic 10 All-Conference team while Haley Dervinis tabbed

Rookie of the Year, it was announced Friday, November 3.

Senior back Michelle Murawski (Philadelphia, Pa./Little Flower) tied for

Player of the Week last week for her strong performance. Through 20 games this

season, Murawski recorded two goals and two assists, leaving her with six

points to date.

Freshman midfielder Haley Dervinis (Larksville, Pa./Wyoming Valley West) earns

Rookie of the Year laurels after garnering three Rookie of the Week citations

over the course of the season. She tallied 10 assists on the year, as well as

three defensive saves in 20 games. Dervinis was a main key in Temple's posting

a 10-10 overall record and and 4-1 mark in Atlantic 10 play.
