PHILADELPHIA - Temple freshman Adam Hegel has been named the Atlantic 10 Indoor Track Rookie of the Week, the league office announced on Monday. Hegel finished sixth in the long jump with a season-best distance of 22-8 at the Albany Great Dane Classic at the New York City 168th Street Armory.

Temple returns to action on Friday at the Boston University Terrier Classic and Bucknell Bison Open.
